You love them sitting on benches ... You love their beards ... You love their aging elastic shorts ... Now: Help them (we mean, us) film Season 2 of MY RUINED LIFE ...

That's right, Brian, Nate and Greg are back for more beard/bench fun! And we need your help to film Season 2.

Why do we need your help? Well, Brian, Nate and Greg eat ... A LOT. And the cast/crew need extra baby wipes on the set. And, well, we lost our "Dazed & Confused" and "Friday" DVD's.

In all seriousness, even in this DIY world, there are still a gazillion expenses that we can't avoid without your help. MRL2 is going to be bigger, better and beard'ier than before. We have two new cast members (that's two new characters!), a much larger crew and an aggressive marketing plan. We have to rent/buy super expensive equipment (Greg doesn't know how to use it, but our crew does). Technical stuff (like sound and editing) require "mucho dinero" (that's Spanish for "Lee, even if we cut you a deal, as a friend, you still don't have enough money"). Heck, the cast/crew needs pizza and water for lunch during the shoot. And, of course, we need lots of towels to soak up Lee's perspiration when filming in the hot summer sun.

The wildest thing about all of this is that the money we need to reach this Kickstarter is our low number. We really need A LOT more than that.

This past year, the personal rewards we have received have been tremendous: hearing from friends, family and new fans about how much you all enjoy our MRL webseries. It means so much to us. Times are tough out there, we know, and the MY RUINED LIFE gang aims to make you laugh a little and recognize that, as bad as things may seem, in all honesty, our lives never truly are "ruined." Well, unless you sit on a bench and give advice about aluminum foil and cheese, that is. We're sure you've wanted to kick one of us in the butt before. Now, you can kick our "ruined lives" (MRL Season 2) into gear.

In advance, thank you so much for giving whatever you can give. This webseries is not just about us making jokes. It's about all of us, laughing and shrugging together. Thank you. We tip our imaginary hats at you all.
