A few days ago, you people (Yeah! YOU people!) made two independent artists pretty much the happiest two people on the planet (maybe even OTHER planets)!
Not only did we reach our pledge goal, but we filled out our highest reward (Exciting!) and we were KICKSTARTER's Project of the Day (it just so happened it fell on a weekend with a holiday, so we were Project of the Day for like 3 days)!
We really can't thank you guys enough, so we went to one of our neighborhood shops and shot this little thank-you video for you guys. These are not actors (which becomes pretty obvious, you could make a drinking game out of how many times I look off-camera in these videos)!
We still have a lot of time left for this project here on Kickstarter and any extra funds we get we will use towards attending more conventions and the publication of issue #3! So please keep spreading the word, because you know we will be!

POPGUNPULP Comics is the creative studio of Mitch Gerads (illustrator) and Scott Dillon (writer), lifetime friends (20+ years!) and creators of the "currently" self-published comic book series entitled JOHNNY RECON.
MITCH GERADS is an illustrator from Minneapolis, MN. After earning his BFA Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2005, Mitch worked in the packaging design industry for five years where he illustrated for such brands as Cookie Crisp, Trix, Lucky Charms, Cheerios, Teddy Grahams, and more. Mitch is currently hard at work illustrating and writing The Daring Hi-Fi Adventure Tales of Johnny Recon as well as a number of other illustration and design projects for both print and other media. SCOTT DILLON is a fiction writer who hails from St. Paul, Minnesota, where he lives with his wife, Kristin, and dog, Bailey. Scott holds a BA Degree in English and Journalism from the University of Minnesota and has worked as a project manager in the publishing industry for the last five years. He is currently writing the first Johnny Recon story arc, "What a Wonderful World," as well as managing the craziness at POPGUNPULP Comics as co-owner. Where was the Johnny Recon shot in the video? Did I miss it?
It was not in the video cuz we are sold out at that store! We found out when we arrived. Bad news becomes good news!
