Hello! 

We're Plume Giant, three friends who love to make music together. We're beginning our most ambitious project yet, a twelve-track full-length record of all new songs, and we want you to be a part of it.

We met when we were sophomores at Yale -- Eliza and Oliver through a classical string quartet, and Nolan and Oliver through organizing open mics. Now, we're all seniors, and we hope to make music and Plume Giant a viable future after graduation, so this record really needs to be the very very best it can be! And that means we need to take a risk and make an investment in ourselves. The amazingly talented and generous James Frazee from New York is engineering and co-producing the record, and he knows how to make music sparkle. The creative process between the four of us has been very rewarding so far.

But after the costs of gear, studio, mixing, mastering, artwork, pressing, and letting James eat :), this album will probably cost us upwards of $9,000 (yikes!) 

This is where you all -- friends, family, fans, generous strangers -- come in. We've set a Kickstarter goal of $7,500 in the next 30 days. If we don't achieve that goal, we don't get any money (but of course, in that case, you will NOT be charged). If we do make our goal, though, it will allow us to make this record and hopefully bring something beautiful to old friends and new friends alike.
