About this project
Help me interview people for my design-focused podcast!
This year, due the economic troubles (Great Recession?) I was downsized to a four day work week. While my French Work Week could have seen me eating cereal (all day) in my underwear on the fifth day, I decided that I should do something with myself. So I started a podcast called Smogr Alert (http://www.smogr.com/alert/) where I interview interesting people ranging from an architect about urban farming, to a graphic designer, a professor and author regarding his new book about maps and cities. So far this has been successful and I have had a steady stream of downloads and positive feedback.
But now I want to take it to the next level and start producing field recordings of local (and regional) people, and you can help me out! I am working on securing interviews with local architects, planners, type designers and even a book cover designer. (Also, if you have an interesting show idea, drop me a line!)
This pledge drive is for audio equipment to facilitate my recording for the rest of the year. My time is free, yet the equipment is not and I appreciate any donation of any amount. I plan on producing a weekly podcast for the rest of the year.
Thank you for your consideration.
