In the past we've gone completely DIY with making records, but we want to do it right this time!
--UPDATE--
We just received a generous donation of $240 through a check in the mail! If you'd rather donate through cash or check, that's fine too, email us at plasticinevitables@gmail.com to sort it out! Thanks for your help everyone!

The above video is from our last CD release show, and we’ve undergone dramatic changes as a band since then. Besides improving on our musicianship and professionalism, the best example of our transformation is Rob & Andrew's increasing involvement in songwriting and singing backup live (three part harmony does wonders to round out our sound). We would love nothing more than to record an album that more accurately conveyed our current, more refined sound. When we show people our recorded music, it doesn't feel like a true reflection of our potential anymore.
The other reason we're intent on making this album is that in the past we've recorded two albums completely DIY, without any professional help in the whole tracking process, and only minimal help mixing and mastering. Although we've learned a lot from those experiences, this time we'd like to do it right. But unfortunately "doing it right" means a LOT more money. Even the budget here is pretty small for an album, but with it we can still make a quality, professional (in our own way) record. That said, we hope that you will donate anything you can, because we don't have much in the ways of capital at all. Plus any amount donated over $10 is met with a reward (check out the column on the right), all of which are unique to this campaign! And if we happen to raise more money than our set goal, every extra dollar will help the quality and personality of this record.
Your support will go to:
- The actual recording process
- Mixing, and mastering
- Possibly design work for the physical album
- Printing of the CDs & cases
Thank you so much for reading this, and please help us if you can. We love you!
Nonsensically yours,
Phil, Rob & Andrew
P.S. These (and the video at the top) are demos of songs that we want to record for the album:
