MAGIC BULLET is a free comic newspaper presenting the work of independent and underground cartoonists.
MAGIC BULLET is a free semi-annually published comic newspaper focused on presenting the work of independent and underground cartoonists, with a bias towards DC artists. Each artist is encouraged to take advantage of the larger canvas to cut loose and experiment and to push themselves and the medium.
MAGIC BULLET is distributed mainly in the greater Washington DC area. Copies are handed out for free at various comic conventions, including DC's Small Press Expo, Baltimore Comic-Con, the DC Conspiracy's own Counter Culture Fest, and many others. Copies can also be found in local comic shops, restaurants and bars. At least 1000 copies of the print run are designated to be handed out to MARC and Metro commuters on the first Monday or Tuesday following publication.

The first issue of MAGIC BULLET had a small print run and is now nearly impossible to find. Featuring an awesome cover by Scott White, MAGIC BULLET #1 featured comics from Dale Rawlings (SKIDDOO), Matt Dembicki (TRICKSTER, MR. BIG), Evan Keeling (CRUMBSNATCHERS), Andrew Cohen (HOWZIT FUNNIES), Rafer Roberts (PLASTIC FARM), and many others.
The second issue of MAGIC BULLET had a much larger print run and featured comics from: Troy Allen and David Dean, Carolyn Belefski and Joe Carabeo, Steve Becker, Andrew Cohen, Matt Dembicki, Mal Jones, Evan Keeling, Jeff McComsey, R.M. Rhodes, Rafer Roberts, Jim Rugg, Jake Warrenfeltz, Scott White and JT Wilkins
This Kickstarter campaign is intended to raise funds for the publication of our THIRD issue of MAGIC BULLET, which we intend to debut at this year's Small Press Expo in Washington DC. ALL PLEDGES $5 AND OVER WILL RECEIVE MAGIC BULLET #3
