TOTTO: LIVE ACTION/CG SHORT FILM

The short film is a fantasy based drama about a man’s life changing experience with the help of an imaginary friend.  It intertwines the use of film, vsfx and animation to show a heartfelt story in a fantastical way.

Totto will be a full CG character that will be animated both by motion capture and animation and integrated into the live action footage. The project is in preproduction. We are looking to fund the production process (production design, rentals, food, props,etc.).

Completion date is expected for the end of Summer 2012.

WHAT IS THE FUNDING FOR?

Production Design: Set preparation, building props, set dressing all are necessary to create a believable world.  

Costumes: Characters portray a certain look through their clothing.

Food: The crew is not paid, we are students and food is a great motivator during production.

Rental/Equipment:Transportation of camera/grip/gaffer equipment from location to location requires van rental. Data storage and backup for digital footage shot on set.

Transportation Costs: Actors and crew moving from location to location.
