About this project
For the past four years I have been working on the gaming webcomic Dueling Analogs. In that time over 500 original Dueling Analogs comics have been created, but none of them have been collected in print. Hopefully, until now!
I've wanted to start collecting the comics of Dueling Analogs in print for a long time now. Unfortunately, it costs a lot upfront money to self-publish a book. So I'm looking for some help to pay for those initial printing costs so that a Dueling Analogs book can finally go to press.
The book is being put together as we speak. It will be full color cover and interiors, 120-140 pages, with a $14.95 cover price and will contain the first 172 original Dueling Analogs which encompasses the 2005, 2006 and the first half of 2007. A lot of these comics will also be enhanced for the print format and all comics will include additional creator commentary about the strips. As well as sketches and behind the scenes look at some of the creative process.
I have a two-month schedule from a successful Kickstart to publishing. Production-wise, the book format is already in the process of being laid out. The $7,000 I'm asking for would go towards paying initial publishing and shipping costs.
