There's plenty of resources on the web for entrepreneurs wishing to start companies. However, this book will focus on engineers, and won't go over details such as funding, term sheets, etc. The current outline is:
- Introduction
- Is a startup for you
- Finding the right one
- Interviewing
- Negotiating Compensation
- What to do after you've joined
- When to leave your startup
- Basic financial planning
I've worked for the last 17 years in Silicon Valley, all in startups or pre-IPO companies (one of them was Google).

Obviously, I don't need money to write the book. However, this is a good way for me to gauge interest by letting people put money where their mouth is, and possibly collect "beta-testers" who would be willing to help me with the proof-reading, etc.
You get a copy of the final book, signed by me if requested.
You get a copy of the final book, in addition to a DRM-free electronic book in Kindle or epub format.
