Adapters, New Airbrush & Bag Pictures, and Stretch Goals

Adapters!

For the past two weeks we have been talking to suppliers, and although we had first considered Bluetooth adapters we do not believe we can offer these at a to you reasonable price given the low quantity we will require. We therefore have explored offering custom-made adapters not only with our logo but also in a shape that will not destabilise your phone when it is attached to your PLAY.

These are just mockups, and they will look better in the end. But we hope they serve the purpose of bringing our idea across to you.

Our idea is to make one adapter for audio, and one for Apple's lightning connector, one for 30pin and for microUSB. That way all phones up to the Galaxy Note will be able to charge or use their 3.5mm jack while attached to the PLAY. We have long thought about this, and think it is simply the best solution to this problem since it won't delay the project or increase production & development costs of the PLAY itself.

Will we include these adapters?

We want to, but they come at a previously not calculated cost to us and the success of this project is our utmost priority. Therefore we will first only offer them as an add-on for $5 each, but since we want to include them we will make them a stretch goal. Should we reach $100,000 we will be able to include both one audio adapter as well as one charging cable (3ft length) of your choice (lightning, 30pin or microUSB). So ideally they won't have to come at an extra cost to you!

Airbrush Limited Edition

Thank you for your previous feedback, we have taken it to heart and Antonio has designed some entirely new models for you and we think they are absolutely gorgeous!

If you decided to back the Level #9 pledge, you will have a choice of between the two. We are quite satisfied with the design now and think they will make for a great and absolutely unique reward. We will also post a picture of an actual airbrushed previous prototype soon. :-)

Oh and if you still don't like these you can always design your own and pledge for level #10. Our artist can nearly make anything happen!

New Case Mockups

We also have some new mockups of the PhoneJoy Play carrying case (which is a $15 add-on). The case will be available in black as well as white.

The case also comes with a small tablet stand.

Here's a photo of an early sample. We are still trying to make the stand even smaller so that it will nicely fit into the case.

This should be enough news for now. We'll update our add-on section and add a stretch goal section very soon.
