Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check out our Kickstarter project. We are two people based in Brooklyn, trying to launch our ice cream company, Phin & Phebes Ice Cream. This Kickstarter project is focused on raising money to fund our business, specifically our ice cream machine. How much can an ice cream machine possibly cost you ask? The one we need, which makes about 24 quarts of ice cream in 10 minutes is $22,772. Yeah, a lot clams right?
An ice cream machine, although a large expense is only a fraction of all the overall funds we need to raise in order to launch our business. This project is happening in tandem with other fundraising efforts and if successful we will be able to purchase not only our ice cream machine but other things we need to launch and run our business like equipment, inventory, packaging, supplies and other things like fees for lawyers and industry specialist consultants. Hey, even ice cream makers need lawyerly guidance.
