U should change the shipping company next time,

If someone bought it as suprise present for birthday or anniversary, u would have messed their plan.

U know 3 months delay is quite unacceptable. I think u should claim the shipping company, as they should have a contract or agreement with you, u can use their compensation for refund a little bit to us, or give us a small present such as T-shirt or whatever as our reward of patient.

      Wishes all u good
And I can have two pairs spnkix as soon as possible

I would highly recommend everyone try a pair of heel-ies before strapping the new SPNKIX on. Just when you think you are good on the heel-ies you will bite it.

Thanks, Peter. Glad we're on the same team;)

And yes, RUDEBOY- ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER. MUST. ALWAYS.

Have any of you guys tried "HEELIES" - Hard at first but easy to learn and get good at. Only recommendation make sure one foot is ALWAYS in front of another or its like standing on a rolling pin. The fall is that similar of catching an edge while snowboarding. (((SMACK)))

Hi to all. I would like to say that I regret the rude words that I posted on my comment, I had five min of a bad mood and I took it over on my commentary. I'm sure that the delay is in big part due to make sure that all details are well done and the product as a whole will not disappoint anyone, exactly the contrary. It is always very hard to launch a new product, problems or solutions that you didn't and couldn't imagine on the project appear as the product is being done. So I apologize for my words, they don't retract my feelings or what I think of the company and, as a entrepeneur I understand the delay. I also admire a creative company as this one obviously is. Again, sorry for my past comment and good luck. Cheers.

Hey Peter, Just wondering seeming we are very close to delivery how about making a quick 5 min video on tips and tricks for staying upright on the Spinkix.

I noticed when you ride them you have one foot in front of the other and almost steer with your front foot. (Much like a skate board i think) this was the plan I was going to start with any way.

      What's your thoughts?

    10. 11.thumb
      theRUDEBOY on May 22

Daniel altho a good idea - not very professional. Peter has to maintain some sort of professionalism with these people as I am sure he will need them in the future.

Hey Peter, give us their number. I'm sure you'll have 275+ people calling them up, instead of just you and your people. That'll get you an answer quick. lol

Ha! Thanks RUDEBOY! You'll have to send us some vids of that...
Thanks, everyone. I'll keep you updated as soon as they're in. Trying to find out what the delay is right now but as I mentioned, this part is out of our hands.

Gonna rip them everywhere possible. ROBOT SHOES - Are you kidding me?? No more walking ANYWHERE----EVER. If I am thirsty I will roll to the fridge. Thats why I am so excited to get them. Best idea I have ever funded or been a part of. Peter should be on Shark Tank (lol)

Question for all the folks getting a pair, where is the most interesting place you plan to use them? Local park, college, shopping, neighborhood? Go to a theme park, the beach, a concert?

When I get them, first I'm going to a local flea market, then cruise around some shopping areas. I'm looking forward to whenever Jimmy Buffet will perform next time! That tailgate party will be so fun to go around.

      Dustin Sussdorf on May 20

I am ok with the delays. Sure I would love to have my SpnKix esp. with the weather becoming nice. In my opinion, I will be satisfied as long as I receive a quality product on the first release.

We all backed the idea that SpnKix could be produced for the masses and invested accordingly. I personally consider my SpnKix to be a token of appreciation for investing in the release not an actual bill of sale. That has allowed me to be more patient with the situation.

To the comment below, for the thousands of companies bankrupt from delayed releases, I would guess there are tens of thousands that were equally devastated from a rushed launch and putting faulty or unsafe products in consumers hands.

    16. Missing_thumb
Peter Franco Wainberg on May 20

Ok, we are all excited about the product. But if what to say about it is as precise as the delivery time (two month delay, BY NOW), we should have doubts of everything that was said up to now. Thousands of company owners went bankrupt with delivery date promises that they fail to comply. And your credibility for your future products launches, do you think that won't be affected? I won't ever again back any product launched by you, that's for sure.

You know what.... Im not disappointed at all.
Sure I am as keen as anyone else to get my new spinkix but designing a project from start to finish takes time money and tons of hard work and dedication. As in life things don't always go as we planed. I'm sure Peter and his team are doing everything they can to make this a success. All the hard work is done we are all most there!
      Stay patient, it will happen...

      Cheers.

I agree that there should be, but on the same side, we don't know how busy he is. He's said he's been at Europe and to the factories. We just can't be sure. I am unsettled as you can see from my post a few weeks ago. Unless he had hired someone to do PR, he's having to take care of his business/manufacturing and trying to keep us updated. Again, I am just as eager and frustrated as I'm sure everyone else is. I think he has enough stress on his mind seeing how far past his deadline things have gone. He can only apologize so much. He can't make the process go any faster than it does.

I, for one, have no complaints about the updates. I understand KickStarter is not Amazon where you purchase items that already exist. KickStarter is for funding projects. Projects have unforeseeable/uncontrollable delays and periods when things are just out of your hands. I'd be more annoyed by constant updates that say 'nothing to report'.

Though, I can fully appreciate backers' enthusiasm and need to sate their spnKiX craving. Peter, for these people, maybe an update on your plans for after the backers are cruising around on their spnKiX. Have you made any significant deals with retailers? Are you setting up an advertising campaign? How large is your initial production run? Is a spnKiX v2 spec'd out? Is the current spnKiX version shaping up to be successful enough to fund v2's development and production, or will we have the opportunity to back that project on KS as well?

    42. 11.thumb
      theRUDEBOY on April 24

I agree with daniel (However they will not be allowed at disney parks) - Its more of an excitement then anything else. With the delays its like finding out there is no tooth-fairy, then no easter bunny, whats next no santa. Peter we know you are doing everything in your power to meet the backers demands, however there are only 11 updates Since December when u started looking for funding, and only 4 since funding was reached.

I have told people in my circle about my "Robot Shoes" and they think I am full of S**T. I still have every confidence in you and your product just want to hold them.

    43. Fb_profile_picture.thumb
      Daniel Kirkland on April 19

I mean the .. lack of updates! Though I can understand why. Everything is out of your hands; it's all up to the factories and manufacturing, and they can't keep you updated as much as you'd like. It isn't your fault for the lack of updates. You're doing everything in your power to get us this product.

Besides, if you were to update weekly, it'd pretty much be "Still waiting on manufacturing and testing, folks!" :P There really isn't much you can say until they are made and on the way. Just eager to get a new toy that no one around here will have. Really want to take these to Disney and cruise around the park. I'm sure they'll be a big hit at Epcot. Have you tried contacting them?

As a side thought, I wonder how many people have ordered them after us? 300 people in the world decided to take advantage of this cheap offer! We're going to be hipsters; we used SpnKiX -before- it was popular to use. lol

It's upsetting to see the lack of updates. I'm sure, though, that when these babies get sent out and are on feet, that everyone will be very pleased with the wait. Especially if the battery life and brake system are as good as it's claimed to be so far!
