About this project
my name is pesi. well, that's the name i go by for my artwork. i paint and make other little awesome things including prints, buttons, keychains, etc.
i've spent the last several years piecing together all sorts of tools and equipment for a full fledged studio. i'm currently in the process of setting up an online shop to sell all my wares.
i plan to offer a wide variety of awesome products covering an entire range of price points. not everybody has the cash for a painting, but there's lots of other stuff i can offer to get my work into more people's hands. or onto people's bodies, as the case may be.
that's where you come in!
the funds from this project will go towards the purchase of an initial inventory of shirts and other items i'll be screen printing. i have a wholesale account through american apparel, so it's good quality stuff.
i'll also be updating my shop with new environmentally friendly screen printing inks and chemicals. help out pesipop and help out the earth!
by pledging, you will receive exclusive access to new products as i make them.
so, what exactly will this money be buying? a starting inventory of 5 colors of t-shirts and undies in a full range of sizes, plus the extra supplies needed for printing: screens, inks, etc.
i'm currently working on several new series of paintings that will be used as the basis for the clothing designs. you can keep track of them on my facebook page or through flickr. the name is pesipop at both places!
any funds raised above the $4000 will be used for more stock (obviously) as well as advertising and promotion.
