WILLING & ABLE
The screenplay follows two Afro-American brothers, who both exceed the meaning of sibling rivalry. Now adding flavor to the mix, their flamboyant gay Latino roommate. All total opposites trying to live under one roof. Deducting the outrageous dramas that unfold, these are three people who genuinely care for one another, but let their foolishness and immaturity take reign.
Our screenplay appeals to multiple demographics of viewers. We as the Show Creators & Writers want to revive the era of great family comedy and bring back, belly hurting laughter into our nation’s homes with powerful elements of vintage slapstick.
The goal of our show is to show these three unlikely friends with an array of differences trying to live amicably in-oder to pay their bills during these economic hardship through exaggerated comedy.
Your pledges will help us fund the entire first season (12 episodes) of Willing & Able. It will help cover pre-production expenses, filming cost, post production, along covering additional production studio expenses, equipment expenses, cast and crew salaries, wardrobe & props, craft services, utility bills, legal etc...

YES! Spectacular idea. If you would like to donate to the film but give the reward to someone as a gift, go through all the normal process of making a donation in your name. For billing purposes, this action must be in your name. After our deadline, we will send a message to you on Kickstarter. (It will be forwarded to the email address you provided) We will request things like your t-shirt size and address from you at that time. Please reply with all the person’s information that is to receive the reward. Together we will make sure they are the person who receives the reward.

IMDB stands for Information Movie Data Base, (an Amazon company). Basically everyone in the film industry from A list stars to up and coming professionals all have an IMDB account. IMDB also serves as a professional resume/CV snapshot look at your career in the film/TV industry.

Will be released pending finalization contract with a network or cable company. The backup plan is to air Webisode. Filming is to begin once funding is secure and schedules are set for cast and crew. Post-production will begin soon after filming is complete per episode. The plan is to have the show release sometime during pitch season of 2013. Rest assured all of us involved will make sure YOU know when it’s due to release.

YES! What an amazing problem to have. Kickstarter will allow as much money as is given before the deadline. Maybe that would mean a more widespread theater release, or more unique physical copy packaging. The possibilities are endless.

All incentives, big and small, will only happen if our goal is met. If we do meet our goal, immediately after our deadline You will hear from us. Who does the money go to? Every penny (minus the fees for Kickstarter’s & Amazon’s involvement) will go directly fund our studio production expenses - i.e. Your money goes directly to the funding of this show. $120,000 seems like a low number for a show budget. Doesn’t it? You are correct. Fortunately, there are still very important independent production advantages that allow us to work with the requested budget. Our goal is to work effectively, and efficiently not worrying over major studio expenses. We work with the all available resource to reach our goal.
