About this project
We are People Get Ready... An interdisciplinary band based in Brooklyn New York. We have a residency this August at Denniston Hill - an artist center in the Catskill mountains. There we will be making our first album as a full band!
We will be in residency for a total of 10 days and our goal is to make a record with our producer Jherek Bischoff .
The album will include the music from our projects at the Kitchen and from playing together as a band for a little over a year.
We are fortunate enough to have this residency but need to raise funds to pay our engineer, for transportation, and to rent equipment.

In July 2010 we began playing as a full band - since then we have had shows at the Kitchen, Watermill Center and venues in and outside of NY. We work as a band and as an ensemble that invites performance concepts and movement into our shows.
