We've launched an exciting new project of our own! Introducing the Kickstarter app for iPhone!

Funded! This project successfully raised its funding goal on November 5, 2010.

SWEET SUCCESS!

Update #7 · Nov 5, 2010 · 2 comments

The Pedal-Driven Kickstarter campaign wrapped and was officially funded today at 2 p.m. thanks to you, our backers, 311 strong, all believing as we do that this is work worth doing. Thank you and thank you again.

In celebration of this successful campaign, I'm posting up a video you'll never see anywhere else - yours truly in stealth movie mode on one of our Pedal-Driven shoots. You will be stunned at the gazelle-like grace, the speed and raw power with which I move clear of the shot (you may also marvel at the belly on me. In my defense, I'm 25 pounds lighter than I was when this was shot - all that slow-motion running has paid off). Laugh away, and know you've made some hard-working filmmakers very, very happy.

Sincerely,
Jamie Howell, Jeff Ostenson, Oly Mingo, Chad Yenney and Mitch Milner
The Pedal-Driven Team

YOU DID IT!

Update #6 · Oct 29, 2010 · 3 comments

Last night at 7:21 p.m. PDT we officially reached our Kickstarter fundraising goal! Thanks to each and every one of you - 247 of you as of right now - who have joined the ride with us. What an incredible feeling of encouragement to know we have this kind of support out there. There is still a week left to go, so we will work to keep the excitement up right to the finish. The DVD pre-purchase and all the rest of the prizes are still valid, and every dollar gets us closer to bringing you Pedal-Driven!

Ride on,
Jamie Howell and the entire Pedal-Driven Team

Pedal-Driven and Journey of Action

Update #5 · Oct 27, 2010 · comment

Hey Pedal-Driven Supporters!
Recently, the Pedal Driven 10-minute trailer won "Director's Choice" at the Methow Valley Mountain Bike Film Festival. If you haven't yet, check out this video at www.pedaldriven.org.

While at the film festival in Winthrop, Washington, we met up with Ryan and Kassidy Brown who are on a "Journey of Action". There's a ton of information about what they're up to and a video about their stop in Winthrop. Some of our staff were interviewed for the piece and discussed the importance of bikes. Check it out at:

www.journeyofaction.com

Enjoy!

Jeff

200 Backers!

Update #4 · Oct 27, 2010 · comment

Thanks to everyone's generosity, we've just broke the 200 backer mark and have pledges of over $12,500! Thank you so much for all your support, we really appreciate it.

We have 9 days left to raise the remaining $2,500 so if you know of anyone who might be interested in supporting the film and legal MTB trail systems, please forward the project to them (there's lots of ways to do this from the kickstarter/Pedal Driven page).

Again, thank you for your support!

100 Backers!

Update #3 · Oct 19, 2010 · comment

We just hit 100 backers for Pedal-Driven and we're over halfway to our fundraising goal! That's one hundred of you who have been willing to actually become part of making this movie happen. If each of you sent this link - http://kck.st/dB830m - to one other person you think might be interested in joining the Pedal-Driven cause, it just might put us over the top.

We can't thank you enough, but we'll do our best by bringing you a great documentary at the end of it all.

Many thanks,
Jamie Howell and the entire Pedal-Driven team
