Great Depression — the sophomore long play recording of fine handmade music by artist collective Homespun Remedies from Dallas, Texas.
After more than a year of passionate and careful studio work as often as finances and schedules would allow, Dallas band Homespun Remedies is poised to offer its sophomore Long Play recording of original and traditional compositions.
Depression hearkens back to the austerity of the 1920s. Great alludes to more than a dozen seasoned songwriters and musicians; a healthy variety of American genres including bluegrass, jazz, country, gospel, folk and rock; and rich instrumentation well-wrought.
Yet Great Depression lacks an essential collaborator — you.
As a true ensemble, none of us can achieve our mutual aim until all contribute.

CDs will be available to the public for the first time Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Club Dada in Deep Ellum, Dallas, TX, USA. Doors open at 8 p.m. and HRx takes the stage at 10. If you have pledged at the $50 or above level, we'll put your name on the guest list. If you cannot attend, we also have concerts scheduled on August 6 at the Free Man Lounge in Deep Ellum and August 27 at the Kessler Theater in Oak Cliff (both in Dallas, Texas, USA).
