"Hero's End" is an independent short film production that explores the world of comics and the people who love them.

Foremost is the tale of Walt, an owner of a comic book store, who hopes to find a successor to his role in order to save his failing marriage. Concurrently is the story of his favorite super hero, The Dawn Bringer, a city's masked protector who also desperately is searching for a replacement when his costumed adventuring takes a toll on his alter ego's love life.While the story of Walt will be filmed in a traditional, live action manner, the Dawn Bringer's adventure will be represented in true comic book style, featuring real actors in an illustrated, panel by panel world. All funds raised will go towards every aspect of production, including location fees, equipment, costuming, editing, and exhibition.
