About this project
I am one of two producers on a team that has been working on a feature film project for around a year now, as well as the editor for the project. We finally got finished filming our principle action and were four shots away from wrapping production and moving into post-production when the hard drive holding all of the footage, among many other things, had a sudden and unexpected stroke. I am safely certain that all of the data is still there, but the disk can no longer spin. I've looked into data recovery companies and have found one to whom I feel comfortable sending the hard drive. I estimate that we will need around $1000 more than we currently have access to. If it turns out to cost less, then we can use the extra money on production costs, goodness knows, we still have plenty of those.
The footage that has been lost is much of the footage for Hank Year 2 and all of the footage for "Hello, Officer", the jaily movie.
