Andie Redwine is a writer, a mother of four, a stain-fighting ninja, a lover of all things Italian, and a reluctant producer. With Storme Wood directing, David Blue Garcia shooting, and Roland Rydstrom, Karen Hallford, and Nick Hannah producing, By The Glass Productions has created the film Paradise Recovered. She hopes you enjoy it.
Thanks for the update! So glad to hear all the good news. I'll be part of your cheerleading squad whenever you like. I know it will be a while yet but I'm eagerly awaiting the DVD release. There's lots of folks that will benefit from it.
I tried to donate to your project, but nothing is active....how do I go about doing that?
Heather, thank you for your kind words. We believe that spiritual abuse is indeed a crisis, and we are excited to bring faces to what happens. So much of what is deemed Christianity looks nothing like the Jesus presented in the New Testament. People of faith and skeptics alike can come together over this one...and finding common ground is something that we can all strive for. Thanks again!
What you are doing is amazing! Thank you for putting a voice to a crisis in our Christian culture that is little acknowledged or understood by many. This film will validate those who struggle to recover but can not put into words what they struggle to recover from. I am praying for you all!
Thank you for your comments, Christine, and you are incredibly welcome. We made this film for people like you, and your support is so appreciated. Thank you!
And Adria -- spiritual abuse is pretty insidious. What do you do when you think that God hates you? A lot of abuse survivors turn to God for support, so that option is closed for spiritual abuse survivors. Losing the option to have a spiritual component to life is pretty damaging. Thanks for your comments and your incredible support.
Thanks for all that you are doing for the spiritually abused. It is so important for those of us that have been silenced, disfellowshipped and told lies to have a voice. As someone that grew up in what some consider to be a cult (Worldwide Church of God), it seems that this film will resonate with me. The clip that you put up brought back so many memories. I'm so glad it is all behind me now. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't wait to get my copy.
I pray for those who you are helping Andie, those who have suffered spiritual abuse. You are doing amazing things with this project and I hope you continue to reach more and more who can learn the truth about God's amazing love and get away from the hurts they are currently facing or have faced in the past. I was abused physically and mentally (not spiritually). I know God was always with me in my life (though I wasn't saved until 1997). I know God gave me the strength of spirit to stand up to my abuser and say "NO MORE!" That is my prayer for those with spiritual abuse, for them to stand up and say to their abusers "NO MORE!"
Good luck big brother!! Love you!
Good luck and God bless. Hope you reach your goal. I posted to FB and Twitter.
Storme,
We are thrilled for you. We will be praying.
Love,

Well, it is working here...but not on blogger(?) apparently? Either that or my techno disability is again showing itself. :-o
So I added a link directly above the widget link on my blog. That link works. :-)
Thanks again!!
Thanks Andie!
I deleted and added the widget a few times, but it still sends me to "page not found." However, the widget is updating pledges on my blog. It simply doesn't link to the pledge page when someone clicks on it.
The widget I used is
<a href="http://kck.st/9cF3kM"><img src="http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2063345667/paradise-recovered-on-the-road/widget/card.jpg" /></a>
Not sure. You might try it again...it typically works for us.
YAY!!
I'm thrilled about this project.
I have a glitch with the widget I grabbed for my website.
When I click the advert on my blog (that I placed via the grabbed widget), I get linked to a tiny url that states "Page Not Found". Here is that link: http://kck.st/9cf3km
Here is my blog: http://tossandripple.blogspot.com/
The advert in on the right side.
Did I do something incorrectly, or does the link need fixing?
Thanks!!
