We're a team of ideas people, and Paper Beats Rock is what our ideas look like on video. Our visual projects have ranged from music videos to comedy, but whatever it is we're working on, our main motivation is seeing ideas come to life.
Thanks so much, guys!
Just in my opinion. Everything inside this project sounds good. I'm a 5DMKII documentary producer and now one of the backers.
Fantastic. And I'm VERY particular about filmed media. I thought the production values were beyond fantastic for an indie project. The build-up through the trailer leading to what I assume is the key plot point (Edison, or a guy who thinks he's Edison) was paced really well. Kept me interested. Rebecca Wynd brought this to my attention, and although I am a broke artist, myself and cannot help you financially, I hope you get it released and whould love to see the finished product someday. Best of luck. -Eddie
Well, and then there's the issues Tesla had with Edison. Fortunately, this film doesn't even deal with the actual Thomas Edison, but rather a figment of the contemporary popular conception in the mind of an asylum inmate.
Also, we shot the film with two Canon 7Ds.
What was the format u guys used to shot the film, was it a 7d , film , or another HD medium. I thought it was shot and directed well however the facts aren't right thomas edison was a crook he patton the idea from an engineer he employed who was a african american man by the name of Louis Latamor. Look it up Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb.
