About this project
Welcome Friends and Family! We hope this message finds you in good spirits. Matthew Santos is making a "listener supported" album with Grammy-Award winning producer Charles Goodan (Santana, Rolling Stones, Beck, etc.). Santos, his band, and Goodan are ready to enter the studio at the end of May and will self-release the album by the end of the summer. Santos has many stellar resources available to him including an incredible producer, amazing sound engineers, great management, and a noteworthy publicist, all lined up to work on the album, and he needs his fans' support to allow him to make the best record possible.
Your gracious pledge will act as a "collective record label," helping to fund the projects' needs. Expenses when releasing an album include studio time, musicians, recording engineers, mastering, producer, publicity, marketing and promo, cd duplication, digital distribution, tour support, and more. With your pledge, we will be able to maintain our creative independence while delivering an album unaffected by the will of the music industry.
We owe it to you - the fans - for getting us to where we are today, and we hope you will help us release this next album.
