Pandora Celtica is getting ready to record their next CD, and they need YOUR help to reach their goals!
Pandora Celtica is releasing our 5th CD, Faerie Revel. We have been busily writing songs, rehearsing them, tearing them apart and putting them back together, developing those magical harmonies you all love, and that tribal drumbeat that holds it together.
This next CD encompasses a year of songs that we have written, collected, put our creativity into, rehearsed and performed - this music is our love. And we want to do it right, not record them in someone's basement with Radio Shack clearance microphones, but in a professional studio with sound technicians who know their craft. With Kickstarter, and your help, we have a chance to make this a reality.
What songs will be on it? It will be a mix of reworked traditional pieces like: "Sixteen Tons", "Maid in Bedlam", and "When Johnny Comes Marching". Original pieces like "Sailor Boy" and even a special song written for the Browncoats!
To make that a reality, we need your help.
We are an independent band, so we don't have the backing of any gigantic record companies.While this does mean that we have control over the creative process of making our music, which we like… it also means we have to use our own money to fund our albums. We need money to pay for a real studio, all the recording and mixing and mastering fees. We'll need money for the artwork and photography for the album cover and inserts. We'll need money to upload them to our CD producer, and for the initial shipment of the finished product. And of course, we'll need money to send those CD's - and all our other prizes, gifts, and trinkets - to you, our backers, our fans, our friends.
If we go over our goal, please don’t stop giving! Every additional dollar will help us expand and improve on the product. We have a whole list of things that overages will go to including extra songs, more disk art, paying to have raw studio time video’d and shared with our investors, producing professional videos for the songs on the album and, if enough money is raised, even touring the country!!!

We’d love to have Faerie Revel be a full multimedia experience, but we cannot do that without you. We truly love creating fabulous music for you.
