Our loyal-est loyalists...

Just so you know, you're still getting yours as promised, before they're ever in stores. Wanted to be sure you heard that from us.
For you developers, this means even more OUYAs will soon be in the hands of gamers everywhere, so get makin' on those games...

@jonathan this is the ouya if it doenst have a traditional remote now you can either fix that yourself or wait a couple weeks for someone else to benifits of a box thats open to modding
Creator Michael Woods on February 5
Stu. On the right of the page is the rewards. On the reward you selected it should say "Survey Sent" and "your response". Click on that link and you should be able to update your address.
Creator Stu Grubbs on February 5
URGENT need to update my address! Where do I do this?
Creator cimerians on February 5
For retail please advertise it as an Android console and "play games on your TV". That may help with people who don't know what this is. The ma's and pa's of the world. Also, somehow to convey that games are cheap not 60 bucks a pop. I'm sure you guys have thought about it but the big problem with the Wii-U in my opinion is that normal folk dont know what it is or just don't want another console. Ipods and tablets are big with kids now. Minecraft, apps etc. Need to hook em' in and make them look at it! :)
Creator Jonathan Normand on February 5
I really hope there will be a traditional remote control for this. When watching movies with XBMC I really don't want to use a controller.
Creator Jeff Craig on February 5
@Matthew Baldo: For wireless controllers with a touch-interface, the price is pretty well inline with controllers. Though $50 controllers for a $100 console feels high, if you don't look at the rest of the market.
Creator Matthew Baldo on February 5
I hope you guys can figure out someway to cut down the price a bit on the controllers.
Also do you have a plan for selling credit through the stores? They won't keep you there if they don't continue to make money. So having a display with cards in 10-20-50 values would be well worth it.
Creator Rush on February 5
Being in stores is awesome, can't wait for the public to get their hands on it
Creator Chris Jean on February 5
Congrats team Ouya. That's amazing news. Excellent work. I get more excited to start messing around with Ouya each day.
Creator Devin Gallagher on February 5
So... do backers get a price break If we decide to order a second controller?
Creator ddbelyea on February 5
This is an especially big deal to parents. This means that a parent will be looking directly at an OUYA when they are shopping for a console for their kids. That $99 price tag is going to be hard thing for even the big name companies to compete with. Especially if right on the box you can advertise things like minecraft, FFIII, and the ability to use tablets/smartphones. Even if the kids don't care about those things, parents know that minecraft and Final fantasy are popular things and will be looking for reasons not to buy expensive consoles.
Creator bobbybobbob on February 5
How can people be complaining that they got a controller for $20 less than retail? I would be a bit upset if I paid the same as retail and got no bonus other than getting the console a tiny bit earlier.
Congrats to the OUYA team for hitting this milestone.
Creator Andrew Dieffenbach on February 5
Huge! Getting OUYA in retail stores was what I told the OUYA team to do with the extra money when they asked--not like they needed me to tell them. Great job; I'm curious if this is online only though.
Creator Darryell Randle on February 5
Cool! When will get updated on when our consoles will arrive next month and which games will be available to download?
Creator Over the River on February 5
The Amazon ad blew me away. I can't wait to get mine so I can add a glowing review.
Creator xmcnuggetx on February 5
Wish I would have gotten 4 controllers with my kickstarter order...
Creator xmcnuggetx on February 5
A bit disappointing with the price hike of the controller. The pricing now seems strange that the controller is worth 50$ and the console itself is worth 50$.
Creator UnseenHero on February 5
I know this might sound ignorant but sorry. It is great you are selling this to stores but are you selling the white or the black ones? I thought black was kickstarter exclusive only ( or brown brushed metal). The picture on ouya.com where you are selling them it is in black. So I was just wondering.
Creator Balazs Nadasdi on February 5
Is this mean you send out an OUYA for backers soon? :)
Creator twenty3x on February 5
This is incredible!
Creator Len Mulaski on February 5
Thank you James...I was just wondering if it's still in March or not. I thought I might have missed something about a production delay...thanks for responding! :)
Creator James on February 5
@Len "you're still getting yours as promised, before they're ever in stores". It's right in the update.
Creator Len Mulaski on February 5
Hm...now I'm concerned. I was hoping to get mine in the mail in March, but since it's not going to be released until June does that mean we have to wait until May for us backers?
Creator d0ct0rscarecr0w on February 5
I'm kind of wishing I got 3 extra controllers instead of 1 since they where 20 dollars cheaper on here.
Creator Jhonrock on February 5
on time... now it's better to buy another console than only one extra controller.
Creator Jhonrock on February 5
Now i'm glad more than ever to have backed/pre-ordered Ouya with one extra controller during kickstarter campaign. 50 bucks it will cost now? Jesus!!!
Creator Kevin Buisson on February 5
Cordialement.
Creator James Coote on February 5
Any chance it'll retail outside North America?
Creator Danj3ris on February 5
Can't wait to see what Gamestop offers as a pre-order bonus, considering over 60,000 people are getting their Ouya's in March, and even more than that are getting them in April before it is even released to the public.
Considering it's Gamestop, I'm going to say that they provide an exclusive screwdriver to open your Ouya. Or a bunch of free demos. :p
Creator ET3D on February 5
Well done. I hope it flies off store shelves.
Creator Zoe Tsang on February 5
Guys... Public release is June... So us KS backers will still get them March and site preorders in April.
You need to stop skim reading.
Creator Sukxk Oomo on February 5
Wie immer gibt es auch diese News in deutscher Sprache hier: http://www.ouya-news.net/ouya-kaufen-bei-amazon-gamestop-best-buy-und-target-fur-9999/
Creator Avi Hayun on February 5
Wait, isn't it supposed to get to us at MARCH?
Creator iammacgyver on February 5
Wait, that sounded sarcastic. I seriously am excited, really looking forward to getting my limited edition ouya.
Creator iammacgyver on February 5
YEAHYEAHYEAHYEAHIMEXCITED!!!!1!!
Creator Blenderboy on February 5
Will it be possible to ordre it, in the EU Amazon and gamestop?

Creator Rob on February 5
WOW! This is huge!! Congrats!!!
Very good news for backers... More OUYA's = more interest from developers = more quality content!! Looking forward to getting my LIMITED EDITION OUYA even more now!!
Creator Hamilton on February 5
Guys. Check Amazon. The system is being listed and searched as being for a Oyua Platform. need to fix that misspell!
Creator Antonio "DxDark" Merchant-Bunkley on February 5
"Bah, pushed back to June? 'Sallright, I kind of expected that :)"
WHEN RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC...funders will still get theirs on time I presume...
Creator James Chung on February 5
Searching "Ouya" on Amazon doesn't bring up the console on top. It's like 10th item. I hope it gets fixed.
Congrats! Can't wait to make games for it.
Creator Nirav Mehta on February 5
Dang I want that color:/ I hope there's a way for us to get it
Creator Juan Valenzuela on February 5
SWEEEEEEEEEET! So happy for this being taken up with the retail stores.
Maybe even Wally World will have to buy in soon.
Creator Ladislav Thon on February 5
Yeah, what about the color? :-) Otherwise, Amazon selling OUYA? Awesome stuff!
Creator RustySpork on February 5
Bah, pushed back to June? 'Sallright, I kind of expected that :)
But holy shit, you got national retailers to carry you? That's awesome!
Creator zeSTUDIO on February 5
Fantastic news, congrats OUYA team!
Creator Anthony on February 5
Oh man, I was hoping the OUYA would be exclusive to online shoppers to help weed-out little kids and n00bs.... >.<
Creator Alex Hatzenbuhler on February 5
What is the color that is going to be offered in stores? It seems darker than the original...
Creator Michal Varga on February 5
Great! Congrats you guys!
