Been weeks since "Your Ouya is on the move" email. Tracking number still hasn't activated. The one response I received from support directly ignored my issue. I'm sorry to say I give up. If I don't receive my Ouya before they hit stores I'm demanding a refund and washing my hands of this disaster.

Really disappointing with @OUYASupport as they continually tell me to DM them with my email address so they can look up my order. Then they say they are looking up my order now and I will receive an email by the end of the day.. Yet no emails have ever been sent to me.

The way OUYA is treating their customers is a shame.. I really thought that being a backer for this "idea" would be great. And I call it an "idea" because I have yet to ever see one out in the wild and even though many say it exists it really makes me feel that it actually doesn't.

And everyone thought the Xbox One DRM issue (thank you Microsoft for reversing your stance on that) was a disaster. This is far worse especially since this is a young company.

Well it arrived (In Australia). Almost wished it hadn't so I could have asked for a refund. A very disappointing bit of kit. Controllers are rubbish, buttons stick and shoulder buttons don't even work.

I love supporting fresh innovative ideas, and I'm always willing to take a chance, but in this case my money wasn't needed to get them over line, it was just a 'sale' and as such waiting until it was out publically would have been the wiser move.

I cant help but think that Julie will take the money, fold the company and claim a failed experiment within a year.

Oh also, just a side note on the lying: LE OUYA was meant to be an epic brushed alloy looking plastic, and that is what I had picked. then suddenly it turned into a poo colour mate finish thing...

Hey all.
Just thought I'd comment, I guess.
-From Australia (just to put it out there).

I pledged the $225($245 with shipping) item, with ETCHED controllers because I thought it would be super cool to have my name on some amazing tech... well yeah so I thought.
It is 20th of June right now, I have yet to get any tracker ID email, any "OUYA is coming" email, any response back from OUYA asking whats going on (about 4 emails all up, over the spam of the last month).

So I'm finally fed up ans just now asked for a full refund, I have lost all hope in this complete failure. All I see and hear are negative after negative comments with a light sprinkle of happy, with a side of "well it hasn't been 'released' so I'll wait and see...." people.
OUYA have pretty much done nothing but hold back, ignore us, and lets be honest... lie through their teeth. Be it from the completely random and useless weekly emails they sent out before, to the shipping times, to tracker ID numbers and even "OUYA at E3" was a lie, since they weren't at E3, they were using E3 as a means to get their product noticed for free.

This has become a company that started and I was so excited I tried to talk all my friends into, into something everyone is laughing at me for wasting $250. I feel like a complete idiot and just want my money back, I'll take that $250 throw a little more into it and buy a PS4 that is about 20x more powerful. (Yes I know they aren't the same console category, but it's also not 20x more money...)

I just HOPE TO FATHER CHRISTMAS that the refund won't take another 11months of my life and endless emails....
Hope to say goodbye to OUYA asap and forget there is such a product that made its way onto this earth. lol \\(o,...,o)//

@ Miggimoto: Actually, I didn't enter any payment information, but I can see the price of the game by clicking on "buy". You get a popup mentioning the price before you buy.

First impression: the triggers are cheap (my lower left trigger squeak when used...) and there *is* lag with some games (Canabalt HD for example).
Just tested Aquaria from last Humble Bundle and it's working nicely enough!

Will try frozen synapse, uplink and several other games tomorrow if I can.

Finally got it, tracking # never worked. Got my two controllers but : Kickstarter exclusive. Reserve an OUYA plus two controllers -- each with your username ETCHED into it <-- the names I provided are NOT etched into the controllers. How do you resolve that one LOL

at least heise.de and theor magazine Computer Technik did review the console and gave Julie and her a-team a slap in the face.

Laggy menu and controls, poor software, slow hardware and games that dont even tell you how much they cost before you buy them. That's right: you will see the price on your credit card bill first.

As far as I know this is illegal in Germany and Europe at all.

Ok, I received my OUYA today (in France) .I got he useless "tracking" email on the 7th of June, without link and with tracking information never showing up anywhere, so you can expect something like 10-12 days for delivery (if everything runs smoothly).
I didn't had to pay additional/customs fees, there is still hope...

Anyways, the packaging was kinda lame, with a parcel about twice the height of the OUYA box, and the additional controller on top of it (so it was probably bouncing around in the parcel during delivery, without any protection...).

No issue during the first firmware update.

Now, if good games could become available...

So just to let everyone know the tracking numbers are pretty much useless... the info never pops up in DHL... If you are in the states however plug the number into usps.com and you should at least get a message saying info isnt available at this time.
But what makes the number really useless is no info came up untill it arrived at my local post office... so the day it was delivered was when i got tracking info lol... yeah it sucks they are shipping so slow and close to launch day but be patient they are on the way and you will get what you paid for!

Got my Ouya + extra controller, a whole 6 days before general release when it should have been 3 months ago. I'd rather have had the bank interest on my $150 for the past year and bought one from the shop for the same price where I can easily take it back if needs be. The benefit was that I was able to reserve my username, woo. Enjoy the interest on your $8.5 million for 12 months!

It doesn't seem to be consistant but several others have said that the "1 x Console_EU" refers to the OUYA with bundled controller and European adapter and the "1Contoler" is your second controller. I hope that is the case because mine looks very similar and I got a second controller as well.

Aleksandar Ristic, that order number includes the extra controller,same order number as mine was and i had the extra controller in the box,the "EU-1Contoler" part of the order is the extra controler so it will come with it.

Well finally decided to collect and pay the extra custom charges only because i bought this for my granson otherwise it would have gone back.Ignore the tracker number,it will never work,to think of the time i wasted clicking on that damn tracker page all for nothing.Everyone who paid the extra charges should storm the ouya team for some form of recompence,i know i will.
Just a side thought there has bee nearly 28000 comments mainly all negative and nobody from the ouya team has responded on here,not once,this must be the worst case of customer service imaginable.I will never back another international kicker again,uk only from now on.Anyway guys and gals hope you get sorted soon, time for me to bow out now,Good luck

Just got my "Your OUYA is on the move" email today. Disappointed when saw the following:

* The package has only one controler (1 x Console_EU-1Contoler (90-30-G01)) and I paid for two
* The email contains a tracking number that's not usable on DHL
* It also has a "You can track your package by clicking the link below:" text without any links.

A friend of mine that's also a backer got this email almost a month ago, and just found out that his package has "returned to shipper" status. I'm afraid the same will happen to me.

Also, what's this business with a single controler? I want my ouya to arrive fast, and I want everything I paid for!

For those who are intrested.

The promissed email never appeared as we all know.

Though yesterday @ 04:45 i recived the "Ouya is shipped and at local distributor".

So kinda expected 2weeks of waiting on DHL.
But to my suprise i recived another email today with a tracking number.

So hopefully Ouya and the local distributor are done playing catchup now and things will speed up.

Atleast it was just 1 day of waiting between the distributor and DHL where it seems to have taken weeks according to some comments.

Now it might only take DHL 2-4weks to get it here, but i cant blame Ouya for that.
And i also assume the tracking number wont work before its at my doorstep, but thats also not Ouyas fault.

Such a shame they didnt communicate better, cause DHL issues are DHL issues but the waiting, stalling and lies are something diffrent.

Prob wont get my 2nd controller now, but atleast the bundle ouya and the controller will arrive :)

My controller is constantly reconnecting itself as player 2. I've resynced it, synced a PS3 controller to the system (which worked for awhile allowing a player 1 to play) but no matter what they all just switch to P2 after a little bit. Super frustrating when certain apps like the emulators need a player 1 controller just to play.

I have never been so annoyed with a product or company in the past.

I'm torn as to whether I should ask for a refund and re-buy from Amazon just out of principle (and avoidance of duty/shipping).

Wow. Finally received an email that my OUYA is ready. But I have to confirm my shipping address again !? Are you kidding me ? I did that like 3 months ago. These guys are sending automated emails to cover there asses because they don't even know where our consoles are... Never seen something like this. and do I need to wait another 3 weeks for the console to arrive ? And what about the extra 20$ I had to pay with my pledge... we are supposed to pay duties too? It's just dumb.

Just got a response from Chad with regards to my ticket about the extra controller not being shipped. He said it will be shipped in a separate shipment but I think it's just an automated email as I also talked about how I'm being sent the standard edition instead of the limited edition. Also when they ship my other controller I'll probably receive the standard controller instead of the brown. If I'm getting the wrong items I'll just ask for a refund, I can't be bothered with more waiting.

I dont have a problem that it takes longer than march. Look at it. THe tests show that at least the first controllers were crab.

The thing i am angry about is that they send "delivery informations" in the knowledge they are useless with the reason to shut up the backers. And nobody write about it in the internet.

They say they are different and better then the big companies, but they are happy that they got our money (have they really invest 7mill. in this) and lie and lie and lie and lie.

Say whats going on or shut up and dont go to E3 and act like everthing is good.
