Thanks for the backup Jacob lol

@Samuel
"It will have everything you've learned to love: fast buttons, triggers, laser-precise analog sticks, a D-Pad"
Yet by all accounts the controllers instead have: Sticky buttons, inaccurate analog sticks, and host of other problems.
So, I would not call these accusations "baseless" on just that alone. They promised us a "Stradivarius of controllers" and everyone is reporting getting controllers that are not even usable. So, they lied. They also have not been very honest with this whole shipping, although they are playing games intentionally not telling us anything specific so they can wiggle out of any direct claims.
Creator Matthew Conquergood 8 minutes ago
I wish I could edit a comment. Going back through all the emails from the past year, I think maybe I changed my order from 2 controllers with the regular ouya to 1 controller with the limited edition. My bad!
Creator Matthew Conquergood 11 minutes ago
Hmm, looking at my order for a limited edition OUYA, I don't see my extra controller on there unless I am misreading it. My email says I have coming: "1 x SPConsole_NA-1SPContoler (SP-10-H01)" and that's the only line item. I am supposed to have an extra controller. Anyone got any suggestions? Obviously there's no way to reach the company for assistance.
Creator Robert Pickup 12 minutes ago
@ Samuel
Haha, like your style, unfortunately it isn't baseless, lets say the last shipping day is next Friday (May 31st), I am told that the pre shipping emails are sent out a week in advance, that means they have the rest of today to finish sending all the pre-shipping emails, if that doesn't happen then they have been blatantly lying to all the KickStarter backers week after week...
Creator Tony about 1 hour ago
@ Mathew
Same here, was picked up and returned to shipper on Wednesday, no movement since. :-S
Creator Samuel about 1 hour ago
@Robert
At what age do you learn to not make baseless accusations?
Creator Robert Pickup about 2 hours ago
Perhaps that is just me, my son is going through the "it wasn't me" and "I didn't do it" stage at the moment and I am trying my best to get him out of it so maybe I'm a little touchy on the matter, but I think Julie and her staff mostly consist of people a little older than three, so unless they have all been brought up very poorly, they should have learnt by now, YOU DO NOT LIE !
I feel better now :-o
Creator John Weaver about 3 hours ago
Still nothing on my Special-Edition OUYA and 2 controllers. But being Special-Edition OUYA and 2 controllers I figure I will be one of the last.
Creator Mathew about 4 hours ago
Mine is recorded as "Returned to Shipper"
/sigh
Creator Andrew Rae about 4 hours ago
There's a difference between shipping, duty, and sales tax/VAT, a business should know this and label them correctly. I wasn't aware that states didn't charge sales tax on imports from China.
Creator Amir about 5 hours ago
@Andrew Allegedly there is some trade agreement between China and the U.S. that allows shipping products from China to the U.S. very cheaply.
Creator Cornelius- Kidney of the Obsidian Order about 7 hours ago
Never got the "reserve your Ouya Username" email so don't know my #. Am I alone in this?
Creator Bobby Allen about 9 hours ago
That is why the phrase shipping and handling was invented.. You estimate your shipping cost and add some to that. If the actual shipping cost are less then the remainder is the handling part of the charge.
Creator Tecknik about 9 hours ago
I also received the #myouyaiscoming email today. Backer #134. Order #135.
1 x Gift-OUYA Gaming System KIT NA + 1 add. controller (90-10-G01)
They say I'm expected to have it within the next two weeks.

Got my OUYA today
Creator Andrew Rae about 14 hours ago
Shipping is clearly included in the cost for US backers, but that still doesn't explain why they're asking for more from backers outside the US. If they were going to ship all OUYA consoles from the US then the fee makes sense, that's what I assumed I was paying for. If the shipping from HK to UK costs $20 more than HK to US then that's fine. If the $20 is not for shipping they need to refund it.
Creator Mike Baker about 14 hours ago
Andrew Rae> I'm sure I read somewhere that it's in the Kickstarter rules that projects are not allowed to charge shipping to backers in the US (because of complaints in the early days of people being hit by hidden fees, I expect). However that doesn't count for people outside the US, they're allowed to charge as much as they want, then.

I did order an extra controller, so I knew mine would be shipping near the end.
Creator Brian Watzig about 16 hours ago
if that is the case they must have picked backers at random to send to, mine was #28666 i just got mine last night also.
Creator Tim R. about 16 hours ago
Got my shipping information last night. It says I am order #52xx. I don't know if it is the same as my backer number.
Creator Randall D about 16 hours ago
Andrew Rae: My guess is that they originally thought that they'd be shipping from the US, not Hong Kong, and that shipping to places outside the US would cost more.
Creator Andrew Rae about 16 hours ago
I've got the shipping information now. Could someone please explain to me why I had to pay $20 more to ship from Hong Kong to the UK compared to Hong Kong to the US? If I am asked to pay a $20 fee for shipping I expect it to be for shipping.
Creator Ryan Smith about 17 hours ago
Surprised to get my Pre-Shipping notification today. Backer #2xxx in Kentucky.

I believe that i will never recieve my ouya
There isn't any help from kickstarter?
Creator Shawn Barnes about 18 hours ago
You all are some sort of joke OUYA. Seriously, over 8 million dollars and we're gonna get them right around retail launch. I so wish i (and everyone else) never bothered to waste our money supporting you all. If this is how you run a business I hope (and I'm sure my hope will be fulfilled at this rate) you all crash and burn into the ground. THIS is why microsoft, sony and nintendo can hold up a video game industry, because people like you aren't able to.
Creator Kevin Mallow about 18 hours ago
After looking at my notice again, it doesn't show my second LE controller:
1 x SPConsole_NA-1SPContoler (SP-10-H01)
I sent a message to support to clarify, hoping for the best. . .
Creator Guillaume Roy about 18 hours ago
Got my email + tracking number at roughly same time. 1 Ouya kit + 1 controller.
For Quebec, Canada.
Creator closedsocket about 19 hours ago
got my pre shipping confirmation. I ordered a second controller but it doesn't mention it in the confirmation. it was for the limited edition version.
Creator Brad Priller about 21 hours ago
Interesting, got my Ouya is at distribution mail today - 1 x Gift-OUYA Gaming System KIT NA + 1 add. controller (90-10-G01)
I did not order an additional control, I did the $95 base pledge, Order number 128, Backer Number 127, so that is an interesting turn of events.
Creator Kevin Mallow about 21 hours ago
#27,431. Limited Edition +1 extra controller, got my "its on its way" email. Hopefully SPConsole means special or limited edition.

Just got my "Your OUYA has arrived at our distribution center " email. Order #1285, an Ouya with an extra controller.
Creator Matt Findlay about 22 hours ago
So, it is May 23, 2013. 8 days before the month is supposed to end. You said that all Ouya's will be shipped by the end of May, and everybody will receive an e-mail 1 week before it ships out. So, at the very earliest, mine will ship 'on time'. Another 10 business to shop (2 weeks) and I get my Ouya a whopping week before retail launch. Oh, and I spent an extra 60 bucks. How is it possible that I have supported you since day 1, and get treated like this? It has almost been 2 months. I don't even want anything free; I just want that damn 2 months back. I always thought that you should get what you pay for, and I am getting nothing near that. You guys have nothing you can call customer service, nothing you can call good P.R., nothing you can even call transparency. A crappy graph does not tell us how many unit have been shipped last week, or in total. Or anything.
Really, I think a lot of people will agree with me on this. We are extremely disappointed in everything. Please, for us, be honest for once. No more lies. No more trying to make you look good.
Sincerely, Matt

Got my Ouya last week. Her are my impressions so far...
Box is nice, and the system itself is very sexy. When you turn it off and turn it on again later it is right where you left off, even inn mid game. Like a phone on stand by. Very nice.
UI is nice but laggy although the games run very smooth.
Controller is nice looking and feels good if a little cheap. Buttons sometimes get stuck under the metal, which sucks.
Available games are not too impressive so far. Far too few and the big titles are missing. No Minecraft or Shadowgun despite being in all the promo material. Few decent distractions but nothing as good as Super Crate Box for example. Best game I found was Fist of Awesome. A 2D retro side scrolling beat em up. Very funny, but it was only a demo! Full game coming soon!
There was a cool looking open world space flight MMO. But the controls were not optimized for the Ouya and I was having to use the touch pad as a mouse to try and get it running. Game looked very cool and very nice graphically, but I gave up trying to navigate the freaking menus!
Not impressed with the graphics on anything I was able to play, I know it's not supposed to be too powerful but Shadowgun is beautiful and with that absent the only decent 3D game I could find was The Ball (which I have on PC). And on the Ouya it looks pretty hideous! Maybe it's just that the Android version of the game was made to run on very low end phones, but god is it ugly compared to the PC version. There was a FPS shooter on the store too but it is laughably bad.
On the App side of things it's not much better. The Twitch.TV app is there and runs great. That is where the good news ends, no Plex, no XBMC, no OnLive, no emulators, no Netflix! Most of these ARE promised soon (maybe before official launch) but this is very underwhelming start.
Once more of these things get out in the wild and the hacking starts and some good apps come out, I'm sure it will be a very groovy device. Right now, it's a brief distraction at best.
Creator VGChampion about 22 hours ago
Well, got my email saying that it's arrived at the center and will get to my house in two weeks. Wish we actually had some real updates throughout this but I live and I learn. Won't be upgrading to future Ouya's if that still happens as I'm really in it just for XBMC now. I know it's all random but for those wondering about stats, I backed in that initial 5,000 batch and it's shipping to Florida.
Creator Tommy Lambert about 22 hours ago
Hi everyone. For those with a tracking number, check on the Hong Kong DHL site for your number: http://www.dhl.com.hk/en/express/tracking.html
For me, the tracking information was available at the minute I received the shipping number. Maybe youll get lucky (im in Canada, Québec). My Ouya is in Hong Kong since two days now.
Creator Lan Pham about 23 hours ago
I bet you could order a knockoff Android stick from China through DX.com and get to gaming sooner than the Ouya. It's just poor form, and without properly communicating with the community that forked over a crap ton of money just adds insult to injury.
Creator Gary Hoggatt about 23 hours ago
I live in Los Angeles as well and just got my "on it's way" e-mail (still no tracking) late last night. Standard with an extra controller. Day 1 backer here, backer and order number in the 8,XXX's. Just wonderful that it took them two months of shipping to get my Day 1 order out the door...
Creator Gerald Valentine about 23 hours ago
Just got my email that my limited edition ouya is at the distribution center.
Creator Lan Pham about 23 hours ago
Still no notification. I actually live in Los Angeles, CA same as Ouya apparently and still nothing. What a horrific debacle this whole thing is. I am so disappointed to fund this Kickstarter. With over $8Million dollars of backer money they couldn't get this done. I was really hoping to be playing this thing by the holiday weekend but it doesn't look like I'll be getting it "before it is released to stores" as promised. Oh well... GAMESTICK!
Creator franco facioni about 23 hours ago
Still no notifications for me or anyone else I know that has ordered the console in south america =(
Creator Rob Shepard about 23 hours ago
And would you look at that, a bunch more people (including myself, backers #27xx), get a shipping notification email...
Well, not a shipping email, since mine does NOT have a tracking number.
And this one as well says it will be on my door step in the next 2 weeks, give or take a day or two. With the holiday weekend upon us, I can only guess that I will receive it sometime in the second week of June, so basically, during E3.
Add to this that there are rumors going that Microsoft is planning to release a smaller, System-On-A-Chip version of the XBox 360 for $99. If they make that announcement at E3, the OUYA is completely screwed and this whole KickStarter has been a waste of time for all involved.
Creator Jeff Randall about 23 hours ago
I just received my pre-shipping e-mail this morning. I might receive my console by mid-June. I am disappointed by how badly this kickstarter has been run, compared to the others I've participated in. The lack of communication, and half-truths, by Julie and company has left me with bad feelings towards them. I really don't know why they couldn't just be honest, instead of trying to hide what's going on. I don't have much hope for them if they end up treating all of their customers this way.
Creator Mike Baker about 23 hours ago
Just got the first email to say that my Ouya's reached the distribution centre. They seem to be trickling out.
Are people still updating their details on isouyashipping.com? I tried to change my details but was just met by an error message.
