Welcome to the Our Vintage Film Kickstarter page!

Since the fall of 2010, we have been a hard working “do-it-yourself” independent band. From the writing and recording process, to editing our own websites on Adobe Photoshop, we have a vision and drive to make it in the arena rock scene one day…but we’ve recently reached a point where we can no longer do it all ourselves… we NEED our supporters!!

If you’ve found yourself wondering, we are an alternative rock band from Nashville, TN. After forming just about a year and a half ago at a music-enthused University, we realized immediately that we were accomplishing something very special together. After a little less than a year as a full band, we released our first EP, Midnight Sun, in July of 2011. Throughout this time, we started booking and promoting more and more shows within the greater Nashville area, resulting in an established and loving local fan base. Finally, after the blood, sweat, and tears we put into releasing our first EP and performing all around greater Nashville, we are inevitably on to the next step….spreading our music and message even further. WAIT! What is our message to spread?? Our music and live show will remind you to never forget the amazing times that life has to offer.  Live everyday appreciating where you are and the times you’ve shared with strangers, friends, and loved ones…never taking anything for granted. 

We are currently in the works of booking a regional summer tour that will take us through states such as KY, OH, PA, VA, MD, SC, and GA. However, there are three main problems in achieving this goal, the cost of buying a used cargo trailer to carry our equipment for our van (which was very generously given to us by our manager), the cost of producing show merchandise (Physical CD’s, T-shirts, Posters, and Stickers), and lastly, the costly tour expense of gasoline that we will need your support when dealing with.  

After the costs of recording, mixing, mastering, digitally distributing, and promoting our first EP, we simply don't have enough out-of-pocket money anymore to afford a trailer, merchandise, or gasoline. Our strategic tour planning will allow us to lodge at our friend’s and family’s homes, however, the barriers remain in which prevent us from making this tour a dream come true….so with the help of this Kickstarter project and YOU, we plan to raise $3,500 by May 15th, 2012.

We haven't included things like parking lot fees, food, wear and tear on the van, guitar/bass strings, etc.

Anything you can contribute will be put to ONLY the tour expenses mentioned.  We put a lot of thought into the Rewards and Incentives, and we STRONGLY hope that they will find their way into your lives....


So please, whether it’s $10 or $1000, YOU are helping us get one step closer to making this tour a reality and even more than that, an absolute dream come true...

Expense Layout:

Cargo Trailer + Hitch attachment – $1000 

Merchandise:

Physical CD Copies (500 units=$725 @ $1.45each)

T-shirts (200 units= $350.00 @ $1.75each)

(2) T-shirt Graphic-Art Designs ($200)

Posters (11x17 Color Paper Gloss > 500 Unit set = $187.42)

Stickers (250 Unit Set = $40.27)

Gas:

Our van gets 14 miles to the gallon.
Average $3.7 per gallon
Traveling – approx. 2000 miles

2000/14= 142.86, 142.86x3.7= $528.60 (Donations will only go to gas DURING EMERGENCIES ONLY)
