We first started writing/recording songs for the band a few years ago under a different name, which resulted in a 6 song EP that essentially created the foundation of what we were as a band. But in late 2010 and early 2011, life gave us a lot of inspiration for new material and a new direction.

After we changed the band name and decided collectively to create a different sounding album, we set out to start writing. We took a long time and worked with a lot of great people to ensure that the basis of the album was strong. We went through dozens of song ideas until we finalized and agreed upon what would become the final tracks of our debut album. 

Without a doubt, this album is the strongest set of songs we as a band have ever written. We are extremely excited to finish recording this album and get it out there for you to hear. The first step of recording this album is to get the initial tracking (drums) finished. However, before we can do that, we really need your help. We need all the support you can give us in order to make this happen. The $1,100 we set out to raise through this Kickstarter campaign will cover the whole cost of recording the drums, including studio time, hiring a drummer and an engineer.

The cost of the album will basically be broken down like this: The room itself will be two days at $300 per day (this includes engineer fees) and the drummer will cost $400 to track the entire album. The remaining $100 is to make sure we cover any fees involved in the fund raising.

Earlier this year, we chose Alex Fleming to produce our album. We will also be working with a talented local engineer who co-owns a fantastic tracking room, who will be recording the drums for us. 

We want to let you all know that this recording session will be photo documented. You will get to see it, and you can live it along side of us.
