At 2:10 pm today our Kickstarter project will come to a close, and will not be funded. With almost 50 backers we made it about 40% of the way to being funded. As you may know, your pledge of support will not be cashed, your credit card will not be charged, and we will not receive any of your pledges. I wish to personally thank you for your pledge, and let you know that I truly appreciate the support you have given for the documentary project.
I want to assure you that the project will continue on…the documenting, photographing, and interviewing will continue throughout the Summer of 2012. We will explore different possibilities for alternative methods of funding the project, including possibly pre-selling DVD's and books through the website at http://www.eastsideoftheriver.com
I encourage you to please check the website (www.eastsideoftheriver.com) for information about the project, and to LIKE us on our Facebook page, or follow us on Twitter for the most up to date details regarding the documentary. Again, I wanted to thank everyone who has pledged to the campaign so far. I am amazed and excited when I see the list of names, friends and strangers, that believe in me and my project. At just around 24 hours to go I have resigned myself to the thought that maybe, just maybe, there is an individual or individuals out there that could help us make the goal at the last minute...anyone know an angel?
