I am a 38 year old farmer growing certified organic cut flowers on our 7-acre farm in Virginia. I am a mother of 4 crazy kids and have been growing cut flowers for over 7 years. I am a member of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers and owner of Back Bay Flower Co. and will be launching Roost Flowers and Designs - an online flower market - in early 2010. I love farming, organic growing, my kids, chickens, running, design and pretty things, and general organized chaos.
We believe in Organic and QUALITY small business...We all have to help fight the very corrosive "Wal-Martiization" effect on all Family/Mom& Pop/ Sole Proprietor business in this country.
