Hello everyone! Welcome to the kickstarter page for New Age Monkey Productions first short film project: Sacrifice.

Now before we go into the project you may be wondering: Who the heck is New Age Monkey Productions?

In that case, here's a little back story:

New Age Monkey Productions is an up and coming film group stationed in Rochester, MN. We're a group of creative and enthusiastic filmmakers breaking the chains of our conservative environment in order to establish ourselves as a recognized production company.

Our Goal is to become a creative outlet in the Rochester community and create an atmosphere where artists of all mediums can come and contribute their work. We hope to branch from film into other areas of creativity and design, such as video games, web series, art shows, theater, etc. We will spark a change in the attitudes of the people and create a greater acceptance for the performers and artists of the city and surrounding areas.

To begin our journey, we're kicking things off with four short film projects to display our range and potential and Sacrifice is the first film of this series.

The price we pay in our grief

SACRIFICE centers around a father who must make the toughest decision of his life. A dark ceremony is being performed in his basement, a ceremony which could bring his murdered son back from the dead, but at a terrible price. Can he bring himself to commit murder to bring his son back to life?

CHARACTER DESIGNS:

We have everything ready for shooting, all the props are acquired and the costumes will be coming in a week or two. The funds produced by kickstarter will go towards:

- A new computer for editing and composition

- Video editing and compositing software

- A new camera to film in high definition

Other costs will include merchandise production and entry fees for various film festivals.
