About this project
I am excited and honored to collaborate with 100 children from Portland, New York City, Los Angeles and the Cura Orphanage in Kenya on my new CD! For the next 6 months, I will travel to each location to teach the children and record their voices for this project.
We could really use your help to accomplish this goal. We're asking YOU, our friends, family and fans, to pledge your support today. Please help us raise $15,000 to fund this project.
Music changes lives. It was my early introduction to choral singing over 25 years ago that completely shaped my life. My musical journey has helped me to find meaning, direction, discipline, and self confidence. I have built my career around sharing music with children and I am excited to create a project where children can sing with other children from across the country and around the world.
This recording project will build bridges in local communities while encouraging global outreach and cultural awareness.
Scheduled for a Fall 2012 release, this album will be distributed by Warner Brothers. Proceeds from the sale of the CD will go towards building a sustainable music program at the Cura Orphanage in Kenya.
