About this project
What is One Hello World and why do you do it?
Described as "PostSecret for the ears." by Paste Magazine, One Hello World is a collection of voicemails, each set to their own soundtrack. The result is a musical compilation giving listeners a cross-section of the human experience. Callers from across the world have participated in the project by dialing One Hello World's voicemail and sharing their story. Ultimately, the project's mission is to foster compassion by encouraging people to simply take a moment and listen to each other.
I'm releasing my debut album: "The Listener".
Backers will be asked to help me curate a collection of 20 of the blog's best tracks to be recorded by live musicians and mastered by a professional recording studio.
Why am I raising funds?
To help pay for:- Talented musicians (especially a drummer) to record on the tracks
- A national caliber recording studio to master the tracks, and prepare them for worldwide distribution
- A press agent to help put the album in front of the industry's critics

Independent musician/composer who loves making music and meeting new people. I also hike, cook and spend time with my friends. Someday, I'd like to have a modest house (in a neighborhood with sidewalks), a dog (daschund-terrier mix) and the opportunity to travel the world playing music. Due to the nature of my project, I'm remaining anonymous.
