About this project
The Lightning Bugs is an animated series created with the mission of providing every child - no matter what color, religion, physical ability or family makeup - a sense of extreme self-worth and self-confidence by showing positive, empowering images of all of them. Our mission is to make sure that, from today going forward, every child on the planet has a sense of belonging. We believe that media has begun to shape reality, and if we are going to improve our planet on a large scale, we have to validate our children through media. I hope that you will join our movement and help us make every child feel validated!
Just in case any of you are reading this with young children around, turn to them right now and tell them that you love them and that they are awesome! They might not say anything, but you can be sure they heard you. Kids like to do that!
