About this project
The goal of this project is to reach people. As many people as possible, regardless of age or location.
I originally moved to New York City to earn a Masters in the Teaching of English. Since graduation, I have spent my time in classrooms and on stages across the nation, educating through my poetry. I have always been a writer. While I have come a long way as a performance poet thanks to wonderful mentors in the New York poetry scene, this book is an expression of my art in its core form. This book is a look into my heart and my mind and it is an attempt to make a difference through my writing.
By funding this project, you will not only be helping me release my first collection of poetry, you will also be helping me spread my words.
All money raised in this campaign will go directly towards funding my poetry career.
Achieving my funding goal will cover all publishing costs for 200 copies of the book. Any additional funds will be used to further my poetry career, in the form of printing additional copies of the book, recording a live album and building a website.
For now, the goal is to build upon the success I have had as an educator and a poet, in order to reach as many people as possible through my rhymes and my lines.

Definitely! I started this kickstarter campaign as a way to reach people. As I mentioned above, "The goal of this project is to reach people. As many people as possible, regardless of age or location." The $2,500 goal was the minimum I needed to make the book a reality. Every additional dollar enables me to reach additional people. The more funds that come in, the bigger the difference we can make together!

The average poetry book is 45-60 pages long. Since many of my pieces are lengthy pieces and this is my debut book, I decided to have it be in the 85-90 page range. What does this mean for you? Double the book for the same great price!

Yes! There is no cap on the funds that the project can raise. As mentioned above, all money raised will go directly to furthering my poetry career! The uses include printing more copies of the book, printing "OMG Poetry" t-shirts and recording my live album.
