About this project
We are Olivia Pepper and Katie Rose Pipkin.

We have been fast friends and creative collaborators for four years and show no signs of letting up. An alliance built upon a chance encounter on a sunny day has germinated such lovely seeds as Private Lives Puppet Theatre, The Church of Tesla, and the dangerous fairy tale installation art project that is our home and workspace at The Island.

Our commitment to our community has fueled this project. Wardenclyffe Gallery will serve as a studio space to be shared by many local artists, a puppeteering workshop for Private Lives Puppet Theatre, a homespun gallery for a wide range of local visual artists, a venue for music, theatre, performance, and many many other things.
We have located a perfect space for our gallery, a ramshackle bungalow on Austin's unique and thriving east side. Before this Kickstarter has run its course, we will have the keys, paint, bands booked for our March showcases and artists already using the studio space. All we need now is you.
Your generous contributions will help us cover the costs of gallery quality lights, paint, a P.A., publicity, construction and repair costs, website construction and upkeep, utilities costs, and installation hardware for shows. We are asking for the bare minimum of what we need because this project means so much to us that we are willing to work as hard as it takes to make this project happen. Please help us make Wardenclyffe Gallery a reality. We'll see you there.

Connected as Olivia Pepper (1048 friends)
Half wood-sprite, half city girl. A writer, an impoverished bohemian, a social alchemist, an urban shaman, an avid conversationalist, a fortune-telling witch. I'm peculiar and happy about it. I like blackberries in my champagne, spontaneous public art, the tradition of circus arts, and old paperbacks.
