About this project
Do you have those certain albums that remind you of a certain season? That song or songs that remind you of the white chill of autumn or the soundtrack to the smell of fresh snowfall at dusklight? We certainly do. And that is the kind of album we hope to make for you. An album of songs just in time for Fall/Winter 2011.
For our first album entitled "Hearts from the Songland", we have enlisted the help of regarded engineer and producer Jeremy Ferguson at BattleTapes Studios. In hopes of creating a snapshot of modern Appalachian-city life for our first long player, we will deliver the album in both CD and direct download form. We will be making a seasonal soundtrack of completely original music that is inspired by the area around us, the mountains, the valleys, the slums and the alleys. If the project is funded, the recording will start in 60 days and we need your help to make it happen.
For some time now, we have been playing shows and giving away t shirts and posters for FREE! in preparation for this moment. We hope to keep the free stuff coming, but we are asking for your donation in order to cover the costs of recording and manufacturing of the CD/download and periphery. We have also brought on board another talented local artist, Brandon Morgan to crank his old letterpress and make the handmade packaging. We hope to add a bunch of goodies in there as well, you know, videos and other nick-nacks. It should be a hoot. thank you kindly.

well...it's pretty cool really. First, sign up for an account when you make a pledge. you can feel certain that it is secure and your info will not be given out to any other persons/companies. When you pledge, your money will NOT be withdrawn until the project time has passed. that date is AUG. 23rd @ MIDNIGHT.
