Thank you all so much for your support! We passed the $5000 mark and this is for us a very important goal. We have found a more economical printing option and will now be able to produce a great magazine at a better price. Unfortunately, we cannot lower our Kickstarter goal to reflect this deduction in our budget.

Volume Koek will collaborate with street artist LEGHEAD LOVES, showing everyday
people in pixels and infinity characters in ink.
About THIS PUBLICATION
A Magazine, not a boring photo book. 9x12 Inch and off-set printed in a limited first edition of 500. Our goal amount will cover production costs and costs for materials and our vendors. You get a set! For you collectors it will be registered at The Library of Congress in Washington to guarantee its uniqueness.

About KOEK
Koek's portraits are pure, as he captures his subjects as calm beings in their micro cosmos. His work is far from naive for it implies a tension between reality and what the viewer has in mind. A clear eye doesn't exist and no camera can capture the truth. Born in The Netherlands and raised by an Argentinian mother Koek decided to exchange his native Amsterdam for New York City. Koek has steadily gained ground in the American scene with assignments for magazines such as The New York Times, The New York Review of Books, Interview Magazine, Filmmaker Magazine and works for companies such as Armani, Microsoft, Pepsi &Co and L'Oreal. He lives and works in Brooklyn NY.
About LEGHEAD LOVES
Sidi Abdul-Khaaliq, a Trinidad native, is a 20 year old brooklynite with a graffiti aesthetic and an unrivaled eye for color. He spent his first ten years with his grandmother, who gave him his first paintbrush at the age of six. Leghead takes his creations right to the streets inspired by street culture, and the ever stunning chaos of NYC. Visualizing his urban adventures and giving voice to the stories of his generation that go untold. He strives to leave a mark of humanity on a world that is too often inhumane, and to remind you that Leghead Loves.
