Update #1: No Kisses Project Update...
I want to thank everyone that has supported this project, I am humbled. Unfortunately we did not reach our funding goal, those of you that donated to our Kickstarter campaign will get your money back. We will continue to move forward with our project. Comedian/Actor Arsenio Hall says; “Aida has something I never had when starting my stand up career. She has tremendous self-confidence! That combined with being funny should be lethal.” Her comedy is a colorful splash in the bland world of affairs, becoming the first and only Latina to ever appear on BET’s “Comic View: One Mic Stand”.
Currently wowing audiences on the L.A. Comedy scene with her regular appearances at The Improv, Laugh Factory, Jon Lovitz Comedy Club this Puerto Rican Latina is a regular opener on the road for Russell Peters and has toured abroad performing for the troops on USO Tours.
And if writing jokes isn’t enough, this infinite threat has taken her pen to the stage with her One Woman Show “No Kisses for Free”, which she co-wrote with Gary Hardwick (Deliver us From Eva, The Brothers) which is set for a 3 week run in Los Angeles in Spring 2011. She also created/wrote/starred in “The Greatest Song” alongside Lamman Rucker (Why Did I Get Married, Meet The Browns) distributed by Image Entertainment.
