About this project
I am so thrilled to get back behind the mic and create something new, authentic, and fresh. Since the release of The Way It Should Be, I've spent countless hours writing - by myself and with a handful of fantastic songwriters in Nashville. I've had the chance to travel all over the country, meet many great people and learn from their stories. I'm bursting at the seams with songs and creativity!
I’ve been handed contracts and have been flown all over by record labels and companies and have experienced some of the coolest things. But this record is independent. And along with being an indie artist comes all responsibility for making yourself successful. Even the money part... I’m not really the type that typically enjoys asking for anything whatsoever, so I’ll keep this short: I need help! :)
I need to raise $5,000. And I'd love for you to be a part of the process! You can pledge as little as $1 and as much as you want. Every penny will be used to cover recording costs: production, musicians, album artwork/design, and duplication.
So if you pledge, you're ONLY pledging. If I don't make the $5,000 goal, you don't pay a dime and I don't get a dime. Only if we make the $5,000, the amount you pledged will be charged. You do have to fill out some information but it's a completely safe and a trusted site!
I know we can do this. I have the best friends and fans out there! I want this record to be quality. I want it to be something I’m proud to show off. I want it to represent me and what’s inside. So let's do this together! I can’t thank all of you enough for your support since the beginning. All your kind words and support mean the world to me. If we make the $5,000 mark [which i know we will!] and you made a pledge, you will not be charged until September 26, 2011 at 10:03AM. If we don't make the goal, you will not be charged anything. But, that's not gonna happen :)
