Adjuncts!
Hi Pint Craft Backers,
As several of you have noticed, there are some ambiguities and typos in the rules to Pint Craft and I hope to clarify them with this message.
1) Adjuncts: There is a typo in the rule set on page 5. It should read, "Adjunct Ingredients can be acquired in exchange for 3 Basic Ingredients. For instance, if you play a Brewery card that lets you choose 6 ingredients - you can choose 1 Oats (an Adjunct) and 3 Hops (Basic ingredients)..." As such, the text on the "Big Tanks" cards is correct. All Recipe cards with Adjuncts have 3 purple dots to indicate the comparative cost of acquiring these ingredients to the Basic Ingredients.
2) Ending the game: If another player uses a "Spoiled Batch" or "Swap Recipes" card against the player who starts a Challenge Round, then that player is eliminated. Only players who are above the Victory Pint Threshold at the end of the challenge round are eligible for the Face Off.
3) Components: There are 15 Adjunct tokens (not 16 as listed in the rule set).
4) Playing & Drawing Brewery Cards: Each player can choose the order of playing and drawing as he or she likes as long as it conforms to the overall logic in the rules. For instance, a player could choose the following sequence: Draw 1 Brewery Card, Play 1 Brewery Card, Draw 1 Brewery Card.
I will cross post this over at Board Game Geek.
Thanks for playing!
