Nicholas Brennan, an award-winning documentary director and journalist, has worked for ABC News, The New York Times, Current TV and Vice Magazine, among other organizations. A native of Maine, he has a strong passion both for his home state and for telling stories about the world around him. He is a Willard T.C. Johnson Fellow at NYU, a faculty selected scholarship awarded to students for their excellence in filmmaking. His latest documentary, "Hard Rock Havana" recently won Film of the Year at the Maine Short Film Festival and focuses on the underground metal scene in Cuba. He is a prolific reader and adventurer and brings strong energy and vision to his latest project, a short film titled "A Marine's Guide to Fishing".
