Kickstarter

I have been creating a line of bags for Nice Rakc for the past few years from vintage and upcycled fabrics that I search thrift stores to find. I even take clothes out of my closet sometimes and cut them apart. I want to create a new collection that uses repurposed leather jackets for the fabric for my bags. Some of these bags will also be hand painted with the Philly skyline, area codes, and other images.

I have been thrift shopping since I was in high school and love finding amazing pieces of fabric to use in my bags. For a while, I have been wanting to start using leather. I love how soft old leather jackets are. I am funding this project for the leather jackets, money for travel to different thrift stores in the tri-state area, supplies, and marketing my new collection to boutiques.
