About this project
I started painting animal butts because I lost my way; I wasn't sure what to paint. So I thought to myself, "what am I most passionate about?" The answer: cute animals. And what is cuter than a rabbit's butt with a big fluffy tail? So I set out to start painting some cute animals.
So far I've painted a Rabbit Butt, Dog Butt and Cat Butt. I'm now working on a Panda Butt and plan to paint the butts of an additional four animals: mouse, elephant, alpaca, and piglet.

The paintings are acrylic on 22" x 28" canvas. I plan to make the mouse a little smaller and the elephant a little bigger. I like painting with vibrant colors and like to limit my palette to a triad color scheme.
When all eight paintings are complete I'll try to get a gallery opening, which would be an exciting first for me. The money pledged will be used for materials, the rewards, my time and any gallery fees I encounter while trying to get a show.

It all began in the 7th grade when I drew the Little Mermaid, I was instantly hooked on drawing. From then on I knew I wanted to be an artist.
I was born in Bedford, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, and I live in San Francisco, California. I earned my BFA in Illustration with a minor in Graphic Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
My primary mediums are watercolors, acrylics and digital or vector art. I typically work in bold, vibrant colors.
