If you haven't heard from elsewhere, the trade paperback, collecting issues 1 - 8 in FULL COLOR, are being made available now through a new Kickstarter campaign, which ends on April 3rd.

The trade will also contain the 6-page prequel story called "Captain Planet" published only once before in the 11 O'Clock podcast community anthology "Low Concept 2" by King Bone Press, and it too will be published in color for the first time.
I still have four issues full of open cameo slots (which will be included in the trade) and the future of a series that allows for endless new storylines--the new campaign re-opens the chance to get yourself one of these slots, which proved to be popular the first time around.
The goal for this new Kickstarter is only $3000, which will allow me, right after the completion of issue #8 in October, to have the funds available to print a minimum of 100 books at a lower cost than, say, 50 books, and makes it possible to afford shipping this weightier product from the printer and then back out to you.
Raising funds in excess of the goal, creates the opportunity to advertise these ongoing single-issue series through merchandising and commercial placement, gaining even more momentum for the trade when it becomes available for distribution in December. You might already know that when it comes to commercial distribution, the books need to be already printed and available to ship. A new successful Kickstarter will make that possible.
