We are a new band attempting to connect with an era that has been forgotten. Help us record our debut album the first week of March.
Utah-based surf-rock-pop band The New Electric Sound is producing their self-titled debut album at the prestigious June Audio Recording Studio, the Utah studio that produced acclaimed albums for artists such as Neon Trees, Fictionist and The Moth and The Flame. The album will be a full-length blend of vintage surf-rock sounds of the 50s and 60s (à la Buddy Holly, Dick Dale and The Surfaris) and more modern, indie rock styles.
The New Electric Sound is a vintage rock band formed by singer/songwriter Scott Vance, who joined Tom Brinton (bass), Ben Zabriskie (lead guitar), Tony the Drummer (drums) and Eric Call (keyboards and trumpet) to form the band. After their takeoff in late 2011, The New Electric Sound was warmly received by local audiences, playing shows throughout Utah and Idaho, rapidly amassing a sizable fan base.

We are trying to connect with an era that has been forgotten, a musical era that captured the innocence of love, the simple pleasures of melody and an excitement for rock and roll music. We are putting our whole souls into this album and we feel like it will be an extraordinary return to vintage rock music.
We are scheduled to record our first full-length album on the 5th of March. We could really use your help raising money to cover the cost of recording and producing the album.
