Hello to all Kick Starters!!

For those of who can’t see the video, let us introduce ourselves to you.  We are the World Wide Neon Tiki Tribe (Neon Tiki Tribe), and we write really neat kids books for ages 11 and under.  Our books show Kids, Moms, Dads and Grandparents how to work through day to day problems by doing the right thing, with fun action and excitement.  Friends who have read our sample books say they remind them of a modern-day version of the Berenstain Bears, but with more action and even more excitement!  That’s a really cool compliment!  Also, each one of our books has a special dyslexic-friendly font to help aid readers. 

In the Bullies: Playground Push Around Book, a little girl named Maya gets teased and bullied off the playground because she is wearing glasses for the first time. The Neon Tiki Tribe (Good Tikis) helps her learn what to do to prevent, and stop, the bullying.  In this book, there is a recap at the end with an action reporter who interviews Maya and the Tikis about doing the right thing and to show Maya what TIKI stands for:

This recap is a great conversation starter with your children.  Questions like: Have you seen anyone get teased or bullied?  Have you ever been teased or bullied?  What’s the right thing to do?  Wow, what a great way to get the kids to open up!

In the The Dog Rescue Mission Book, a little boy loses his family dog and lies to his parents about the dog's location.  His dog ends up lost in the woods and the Ku Tiki Tribe (Bad Tikis) capture him.  The Neon Tiki Tribe help the little boy rescue the dog and explain to him why he should have told the truth to his parents!  What a great message and conversation to have with your kids!

In The Tiki Beach Battle Book, the Ku Tikis have been polluting the ocean, and as a result, hurting the sea turtles that live there. The Neon Tiki Tribe track down the Ku Tiki Tribe and save the turtles.  WOW, another fun story for the kids, with a great moral message (take care of your world)!

We need help getting off the ground with this project.  The money we get from KickStarter will enable us to print our first edition books and launch the World Wide Neon Tiki Tribe.  HELP US HELP THE KIDS!

If we go over our Goal these are the books we are going to do next after we print the first three books mentioned above.  Great subjects to talk to the kids about in fun and exciting way!!
