Plus, we’ll be providing this PDF edition of our book -- free -- to all of Ibiza and Formentera’s primary schools, so local kids can use our book to connect with the amazing natural heritage they have in their own backyards!
Now we’re in the home stretch of our fundraising campaign: just 24 hours left! Our Kickstarter page will stop accepting pledges on Monday, April 30 at 9:00pm EDT (that’s 6:00pm on the west coast). With a little bit of luck, we can still reach our final goal of $20,000! To remind you, here’s what we can accomplish if we make it:
- We will develop an iPad app for The Symbol: Wall Lizards of the Pityusic Archipelago -- an interactive e-edition of the book that’s enhanced with additional images, video clips and other media.
- We’ll also donate a hard copy of The Symbol to the library of every primary school on Ibiza and Formentera (in addition to the free PDF version).
We can really use your help in the final day of the campaign: please help us get the word out! Use e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, and good old-fashioned talkin’ to share our campaign with your friends, family, and anyone who loves cool science, conservation, and beautiful photography.
