Heather Dalton Producer/Director/Editor has built a solid reputation as a creative producer of original, Emmy nominated programs for public television focusing on independent film, culture, politics and social issues. She produced and directed the series Out of Order and Dropframe.
With historical people, and I wager with history in its entirety, people eventually believe what they want to believe, see what they want to see. In fact, even for eyewitness, people will remember what they choose to remember. We are here to celebrate a muse. A muse, by its very definition, is a mythological character. But we are also here to celebrate a man. We are here to celebrate a man whose life has touched more than just the lives of men and women, it has touched the very foundation of a culture. So in one respect we have Neal Cassady the man, and in another respect we have Neal Cassady the muse. In honoring him, I encourage everyone to find a balance between the man and the myth.
Great work, Heather!
Bon chance,
Nate Jordon
