About this project
The Nouveau Classical Project is dedicated to promoting classical music to new audiences. We connect classical music with fashion and art and take classical music outside the traditional concert setting to expose the art form's relevance to today’s audiences.

ABOUT FORM/FIGURE:
form/FIGURE featured art, fashion, and music that take a direct cue from established/traditional elements. Fashion: (http://www.gigiburris.com) and Edward Lorenz (http://www.notjustalabel.com/edwardlorenz). Art by Chris Rini (http://www.christopherrini.com). Music: Bartok, Ginastera, Philip Glass, Handel-Halvorsen, Rodrigo, and emerging composer Danielle Schwob (http://www.danielleschwob.com). This concert offered examples of how perspectives on fixed things can still change over time.
10% of ticket sales will be donated to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.

I love classical music and I'm all about exposing more people to the art form. Being someone that came from an almost non-existent classical background, I strongly believe it's possible for people to get into classical music regardless of how much experience they've had with it. The Nouveau Classical Project is dedicated to promoting classical music to new audiences. Our primary goal is to create ongoing events that connect classical music with fashion and/or visual art, featuring emerging performers, artists and composers. Our events take classical music outside the traditional concert setting and expose the art form's relevance to today’s audiences.
